Dan has worked on high profile projects such as the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, National September 11 Memorial and Museum, Hudson Yards, and the new Long Island Railroad Mainline Third Track. He is a Certified Construction Auditor and a Construction Controls Professional. Through his work for public agencies such as the Port Authority Office of Inspector General and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Office of Inspector General as well as various private developers, he has saved his clients tens of millions of dollars and prevented them from being victims of construction fraud. With an extensive background in construction contracts and compliance controls, he helps to protect any project’s reputation and its bottom line.
His first introduction to hockey was in the 90’s on the streets in Central Jersey through fierce roller hockey games, which transitioned to pond hockey during that awesome cold snap from 1992 – 1996. While earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at James Madison University, he was one of the early members of JMU’s Hockey Club where they played in various tournaments and against other club hockey teams in neighboring states. He subsequently earned a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from Rutgers University. Dan’s love for hockey was passed on to his two boys who began skating while they were still in diapers. He spent many hours at the rinks teaching his boys, and other children, the fundamentals of skating and hockey. He was more excited for the NHL Learn to Play program than his kids were, as he got to skate with the likes of Bruce Driver, Kenny Daneyko and Collin White, despite being an avid Wings fan. Although he recently relocated to Texas, he continues to coach at the Squirt and PeeWee levels in the Dallas Stars Metro Hockey League. |
